Four state agreements on cooperation with United Arab Emirates ratified

The Serbian parliament ratified Friday (15 March 2013) four agreements on cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the field of defense, avoidance of double taxation of income, mutual encouragement and investment protection.

The agreement on cooperation with the UAE regulates economic cooperation, cooperation in the field of economy and agriculture, military cooperation, cooperation in the field of investment, duties and taxes, transportation, finance and banking, environment, energy, cooperation in the field of justice, communications, education, sports, culture and other fields.

The Parliament also ratified a KWD 10 million agreement between Serbia and the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development on a guarantee for financing the Beograd railway station project.
