Jobs remain stable in 2013 - New hirings announced by Metalac, DIS, Energoprojekt, Delhaize...

The most successful companies in Serbia have no intention to lay off their workers this year. Despite the economic crisis, further decline in the living standard and the reduced volume of business, Serbia's leading businessmen promise stable jobs, with many of them even announcing new hirings because of "the increasing volume of work."

- We will hire another 50 workers this year, which is in line with our company's business policy for the next few years. Every year we employ between 50 and 100 new workers, whereas last year we hired as many as 250 people because the volume of production grew 25 percent - Metalac CEO Dragoljub Vukadinovic announced.

Ivan Suleic, PR of the DIS company, says that that company plans to hire new workers as early as next month.

- We plan to employ 100 workers in Nis, where we are going to open a market - says Suleic.

Energoprojekt CEO Vladimir Milovanovic says that his company plans to hire minimum 50 engineers and other highly educated experts "if all planned investments in Serbia are implemented."

- Our aim is to train as many young people as possible for projects abroad through the implementation of some projects in the country - says Milovanovic.

Tatjana Krasulja, HR director at Atlantic Grupa, says that this company plans to employ another 40 workers this year.

New hirings have also been announced by market chains Delhaize and Univerexport, Blic reports.
