Best Energy starts building small hydroelectric power stations in Bosilegrad - Six more power plants in the pipeline

Construction of the first out of seven small hydroelectric power stations to be built on the Bistarska River in the municipality of Bosilegrad has begun. The mayor of this municipality, Vladimir Zaharijev, explains that this is the start of implementation of a project they have been working on for several years.

The investor is the Best Energy company, with which the municipality has signed an employment agreement. The funding is provided for all seven power stations, despite the fact that this municipality is not covered by the government's plan for the construction of small hydroelectric power plants.

The remaining six power plants will be built upsteam on the Bistarska River, and the completion of the first small hydroelectric power station is expected in mid-summer.
