International Building Trade Fair opened in Belgrade

The 39th International Building Trade Fair SEEBBE was opened today at the Belgrade Fair. This event will gather over 800 exhibitors from 22 countries.

The trade fair will be open by April 20th with the largest number of exhibitors coming from Italy, Turkey and Slovenia. There will also be companies from Austria, Belgium, China, Spain, France, Germany and Greece.

Minister of Construction and Town Planning Velimir Ilic said at the opening ceremony that the construction industry had gone through a difficult period that had not ended yet, adding that the road construction sector was in a particularly difficult situation.

According to Ilic, the main problems experienced by the construction industry are large debts, unsuccessful privatizations and bankruptcy proceedings going on for years.

A ticket for this trade fair costs RSD 500 per person, the price for group visits is RSD 350 per person, whereas parking is charged 200 dinars per hour. A ticket for all days of the fair is priced at RSD 900.
