A group of the largest pay TV cable operators in southeast Europe - SBB, Telemach Slovenia and Telemach BH, formed United Group on Wednesday (24 April 2013).

Aside from these cable operators, the group will also include the biggest satellite platform in the region - Total TV, as well as about 15 smaller companies that are majority owned by the investment fund Mid Europe Partners and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

United Group will be providing cable and satellite television, internet, mobile and fixed telephony services.

Dragan Solak, chairman of the Managing Board of this group, announced at a press conference that United Group would offer its users free landline calls between Serbia, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina as of May 1st.

Solak pointed out that that group had generated revenues of EUR 180 million in 2012, adding that their joint investments had been in excess of EUR 50 million.
