Big supporter of business cooperation between SCG and Germany, Martin Knapp, to leave Belgrade, Maren Diale-Schellschmidt - Welcome !

These days, Martin Knapp, director of Representative Office of the Association of German Industrial-Trade Chambers to SCG (DIHK), will leave Belgrade and continue its career in the headquarters in Berlin. He will be remembered among the businessmen as an optimistic and energetic economist, great expert for mentality of the people from the Balkans (thanks to the one-decade operations in Greece) and a friend of Serbia and Montenegro.

Martin Knapp was very lucky because his predecessor Ilse Richter used her knowledge of language and economic conditions in Belgrade in the best possible way, so that she laid foundations in the most optimal way for DIHK office in Belgrade, selected exceptional team of associates, while Martin Knapp, consequently, made DIHK become important economic location in Belgrade, in which new ideas and projects are everyday event. With his energy, in cooperation with "German Economic Colony", he founded DWB (German Economic Association) in Belgrade, established cooperation with numerous business associations and chambers and bound SCG and German companies through business.

We wish luck to him and his family in the future years and we hope that he will visit Belgrade as often as possible. As far as new director, Ms. Maren Diale-Schellschmidt, is concerned, we wish her to become the citizen of Belgrade as soon as possible and to help us find the ways for even better contacts between Germany and SCG.
