The technological giant, Google, turning interested eyes a California teenager, Esha Khare way for her revolutionary invention. She has invented a device that could one day fully charge a cell phone in 20 seconds flat.

For Supercapacitor, as she named her super fast battery charger, an 18-year old girl from Saratoga took home $50,000 for the super-fast charging device showcased at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix recently.

Thanks to a new device, we will not have to wait for hours to charge our phones. More energy fits into considerably smaller space than in traditional phone batteries while charging takes much longer.

Esha Khare has so far used her Supercapacitor only to charge light-emitting diode(LED) but she forsees bright future where her invention would charge cell phones, cars, i.e. any other device using charging batteries.

Supercapacitor is tiny and flexible, with the a cycle of 10.000 chargings which is ten times more than with regular batteries.
