Zoran Vojnovic named new chairman of Executive Board of Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank
New chairman of the Executive Board of Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank AD Beograd is Zoran Vojnovic, who has replaced Vladimir Cupic in that position.
Zoran Vojnovic has so far been serving as chief executive officer and executive director for risk management at Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank Podgorica, and he was also deputy chairman of the Executive Board of Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank Beograd in the period between August 2009 and end-2011, when he was in charge of risk management.
He began his banking career in Jugobanka's Department of International Operations in Belgrade and that bank's office in New York, and then returned to Belgrade to assume the position of vice chairman of the Executive Board responsible for international operations. The National Bank of Yugoslavia and the Bank Rehabilitation Agency appointed him in 2001 as director general of Jugobanka in the rehabilitation period.
In February 2002 he accepted a job at UniCredit Bank Serbia AD Beograd, assuming the position of deputy chairman of the Executive Board. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade, Department of International Trade, and then went on to earn an Executive MBA degree from IMADEC University in Vienna. Mr. Vojnovic speaks English and French. He was born in 1956 in Belgrade. He is also married and father to one child.
The rest of the Executive Board of Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank has remained unchanged with its members being Martin Kammermeier, deputy chairman of the Executive Board, Oliver Klesinger, Mirko Spanovic, and Rade Vojnovic.
