Italy's Aunde, which will be producing car seats in Jagodina, is going to start building its factory on June 20th, Jagodina Mayor Dragan Markovic Palma announced Saturday (1 june 2013), at the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for a North Karton factory.

He also said that the Italian company Vibac, engaged in the production of duct taps and fast food packaging, would begin the construction of its factory in Jagodina on August 10th, adding that that investment was worth EUR 60 million.

- I have never requested a ministerial position, but I am going to ask the Serbian government to task me with traveling around the world and bringing investors not only to Jagodina, but also to other cities in Serbia - said Markovic.

Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic signed May 20th an agreement with the director of the Italian company Vibac, Patritio Massini, to grant incentives for direct investment to that company, which is going to build a factory and create 300 jobs in Jagodina. The Vibac factory in Jagodina will be producing duct tapes and polypropylene foils.
