Railway companies to form new regional transportation corridor
Austrian, Slovenian, Croatian, Bulgarian and Serbian railway companies are going to form a new transportation corridor, the Koridor 10 Plus association announced in a release.
The route of the new freight corridor will be: Filah - Graz - Zagreb - Belgrade - Svilengrad.
The establishment of that railway corridor with the aim of increasing the volume and quality of transportation of goods was announced at a recently held meeting in Belgrade, the Serbian Railways newspaper Pruga reports.
When it comes to investment, funding can be provided by aforementioned countries as well as European funds and local investors.
The next meeting of the Koridor 10 Plus association will be held September 20th, by which time all railway companies need to collect information on that project in order to present concrete proposals.
