Parliamentary Finance Committee backs 2013 budget revision
The Parliamentary Committee for Finance, Republic Budget and Public Spending Control today backed a draft of the 2013 budget revision proposed by the Serbian government.
The bill on the 2013 budget review, which was unanimously adopted by the Serbian government last Tuesday, envisages the revenues of around RSD 873.4 billion, expenditures of RSD 1051.7 billion, and sets deficit at RSD 178.3 billion or 4.7 percent of GDP.
Committee members also backed the amendments to the budget system law, the law on pension and disability insurance, and a proposal for assuming the liabilities of the public company Roads of Serbia (Putevi Srbije) to other companies, and turning them into Serbia's public debt.
They also gave their support to the amendments to the law on assuming the liabilities of health care institutions to wholesale pharmaceutical companies and turning them into Serbia's public debt, bills on accounting, auditing, factoring, and several inter-state agreements.
