Inter-kop cuts staff from 2,500 to 700 - State owes EUR 15 million to Sabac-based construction company
The state owes EUR 15 million to Inter-kop, but its liabilities to this company were even bigger in August 2012, when they stood at EUR 25 million. One of the consequences is a staff reduction from 2,500 to 700.
As a result of the crisis, over the last five years the volume of investment in our country's infrastructure has dropped, thus affecting the company's ability to service its financial liabilities. However, certain banks have agreed to reschedule Inter-kop debts over a period of 15 years, with an annual interest rate of 4 percent and a grace period of one to two years.
