Koridori Srbije terminate four contracts with Alpine

Koridori Srbije has informed today the Alpine company on termination of four contracts for the construction of Pirot-Dimitrovgrad sections and a ring road around Dimitrovgrad at Corridor 10.

- With this announcement, the contract is considered terminated - Dmitar Djurovic, director of Koridori Srbije said at the press conference.

He pointed out that the company met all prerequisites for the contract termination, mentioning that all parties involved in the were consulted and an opinion from a lawyer from Vienna and a trustee in bankruptcy of Alpine was awaiting. Apart from that, approval came from the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

- Although more than a month ago, Alpine official informed us on its bankruptcy process, as responsible people we did not to make abrupt decisions since extremely complicated legal relations are in question Djurovic said.
