Vindija meat-packing company opens EUR 2.6 million production facility in Plandiste
In the presence of AP Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic, Provincial Secretary for Economy, Employment and Gender Equality Miroslav Vasin, and Novi Sad Chamber of Commerce President Ratko Filipovic, representatives of Croatia's largest food company Vindija ceremoniously opened a new EUR 2.6 million factory for producing meat-packing products in Plandiste on August 23rd.
The opening of this modern facility represents the last phase in an investment cycle that will ensure the export of additional quantities of Serbian food products of unique Vindija quality to the European Union and Russian Federation, it was announced at the opening ceremony.
The new factory will employ 50 people for a start, whereas the total number of people to get job at this facility is projected at between 130 and 150.
Let us remind that Vindija has so far invested over EUR 34 million in Serbia.
