Investments, friendship and cooperation – manifestation "Days of Friuli - Venice - Julia in Belgrade" starts on November 28

The Embassy of Italia and Italian Foreign Trade Institute from Belgrade, in cooperation with Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (PKS), will be the host of the manifestation named "Days of Friuli Venice Julia in Belgrade", which will be held in Belgrade-based hotels "Hyatt" and "Intercontinental" on November 28, 29 and 30, 2006.

The Ambassador of Italy to Belgrade, Alessandro Merola will speak to the participants in that meeting on the first day of the conference. Also, on the same day, the participants will be listening to the State Secretary in the Ministry of International Economic RElations of Serbia, Vlatko Sekulović, the President of Friuli Venice Julia region, Riccardo Illy, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Slobodan Milosavljević.

During these three days, numerous Italian businessmen will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the investment and economic potentials of Serbia, especially Belgrade, Kragujevac and Novi Sad. The aforementioned themes will be worked out by the manager of SIEPA, Jasna Matić, the manager of city of Belgrade, Bojan Stanojević, and the manager of the Investment Support Agency of Central Serbia in the Chamber of Commerce of Kragujevac, Predrag Lučić.

The aforementioned manifestation represents extension of the meeting "Days of Italy in Belgrade" and it is realized in the scope of "Friuli Venice Julia&Serbia" project.

So far, about 100 Italian companies have applied and they are interested in various forms of cooperation with Serbian partners, which will make this forthcoming visit the most important economic event between the two countries in Serbia in 2006.
