Wine Festival on the Liberty Square in Novi Sad - June 3-5, 2005
The second international wine festival will be held from June 3 to June 5, 2005 on the Liberty Square. The participators will be manufacturers of wine and related equipment, tourist organizations, specialized magazines, media and other individuals and institutions that deal with production, distribution and consumption of wine. The organizer is marketing agency "Interfest", main protector is City of Novi Sad, and the manifestation will be supported by Executive Council of Vojvodina, Republic Ministry of Agriculture and Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Besides the participators from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia, the Wine Festival will also gather exhibitors from Italy, France, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Romania and other countries, as well as from Novi Sad's sister cities - Dortmund, Athens, Norich, Modena and Salonica. There will be over 50 pavilions at the stands and they will be built, especially for this occasion, on the central city square. There will be over 80 exhibitors and they will present wine, tourist and other offers of the region they represent through cultural programs and other contents.
The organizers expect that the festival will be visited by 50,000 visitors and 50 media, 20 of which from abroad. In cooperation with BK University, the workshops will be organized, which will be opportunity for wine manufacturers to speak to the major domestic enology experts.
