NIS and Energowind to start building wind farm in Plandiste on September 18th
Energowind and the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) will start building a wind farm in Plandiste on September 18th.
As NIS announced in a release, the ceremony marking the commencement of works will be attended by Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection Zoran Mihajlovic, NIS CEO Kirill Kravchenko, and the management of Gazprom Neft.
In April 2013, the Petroleum Industry of Serbia acquired a 50-percent stake in the Plandiste wind farm development project that involves the construction of 34 wind turbines with a total capacity of 102 MW.
As previously announced, the total value of this project, including the costs of the preparation of documentation and the permitting process, is EUR 160 million. NIS will set aside EUR 23.5 million, whereas the rest will be provided from bank loans.
