Turkey helps cataract treatment in undeveloped municipalities in Serbia

Ministry of Health and the Office for undeveloped areas agreed on Monday to collaborate on the project to help cataract treatment of citizens from poor municipalities in Serbia, conducted with support of the doctors and donors from Turkey.
Minister of Health, Slavica Djukic Dejanovic and Minister in charge of sustainable development of undeveloped municipalities, Sulejman Ugljanin, have spoken about cooperation and realization of this project.
According to the statement, the agenda of the meeting was collaboration on conducting 'Balkan cataract project', the donation of the Turkish Foundation for Solidarity with undeveloped municipalities.

The Minister gave full details of the project about which he spoke with the Turkish representatives who conducted similar operations on 70.000 patients in African and Asian countries. In Serbia, the intervention will be available to patients from undeveloped municipalities.
