Eighty Italian companies at the meeting in Pordanone expect much from future meeting in Belgrade, SERBIAN SIDE on the move

On November 28, 29 and 30, 2006, big Italian delegation of businessmen from the region of Friuli-Venice-Julia will stay in Belgrade with the great ambitions related to investments, trade and joint appearance on the third markets. The meeting will be a natural extension of "The Days of Italy in Belgrade", which had great results in 2004 and 2005.

In order to get prepared for this new meeting in Belgrade, Italian companies are receiving daily reports on the market situation from the organizer, as well as the information on the most quality offers of Serbia in the fields of their interest (Take a look at the LIST of companies and interests of Italian side). The financial aspects are being analysed, as well as crediting issues and insurance of investments.

The PROGRAM of the meeting in Belgrade is conceived very ambitiously. There will be some visits outside Belgrade, in the regions of Šumadija and Pomoravlje (Kragujevac), as well as south Serbia (Leskovac). Italians expressed special interest in the economy of Vojvodina and Belgrade, as well as Šumadija, due to capacities from the domain of the mechanical engineering, plastic and textile industry.

Serbian side met requests of Italians, so that the businessmen from Central Serbia, thanks to the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Kragujevac, visited Pordenone on November 14 and the team led by the President of the Regional Chamber, Dušan Puača, spoke to the future participants in the meeting in Belgrade. The team especially represented the benefits of the investments and capacities of metal-processing, machine and automobile industry, industry of automobile components, food-processing industry and industry of plastic products.

Definitely, Italians are very familiar with the advantages of Serbia concerning its strategic position, arrangements with Russia, tax and investment benefits, and they also confirm that they are interested in young and educated manpower with knowledge of foreign languages. Italians are relatively happy with the existing infrastructure and they are very encouraged by the fact that major part of investments from the National Investment Plan goes to further improvement of infrastructure.

Thus, Italians are arriving at the end of the month in Serbia and SERBIAN SIDE is on the move. The organizers are financing this meeting and it is FOR FREE for Serbian companies. The only thing they need to do is to FILL IN THE APPLICATION FORM, and to get ready for meetings and talks.
