Herceg Novi to become big building site, construction of hotel, sports hall, sports courts in Igalo, water supply system, road and border crossing towards Trebinje...

Mayor of Municipality of Herceg-Novi, Dejan Mandić, says that the construction of sports hall, hotel and outdoor courts will soon start in Igalo. The contractor is Belgrade-based Energoprojekt. Until the end of summer 2005, the construction of road section that will connect Herceg-Novi with Republic of Srpska should finally commence. The distance between Belgrade and Herceg –Novi will be shorter by some 70-80 km when the road section towards Trebinje is over. Tourist workers in Herceg Novi announce construction of new suites on Savina and near Njivice. Tourist settlement ``Rivijera`` in Njivice was sold to the Israeli and its reconstruction will soon be completed.

After the signing of new contract with Croatian side, it is expected that the water supply offer will be much better. Also, building of border crossing on Debeli brijeg is underway. (pregled)
