Serbian companies sign food export agreements worth EUR 5.5 million - Successful appearance of local companies at Anuga fair in Cologne
Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) said in a release on Thursday that Serbian companies had signed 12 export agreements worth EUR 5.5 million with foreign clients at the recently finished food fair Anuga that took place in Cologne between October 5 and 9.
At this event, finished products were presented by the following five exhibitors from Serbia: Jaffa Crvenka from Crvenka, Pionir from Subotica, Venac from Stara Pazova, Packom International from Belgrade, and Medino from Krnjevo, while the following seven companies presented their frozen products: Jugprom and Strela Fungi from Leskovac, Igda Impex from Belgrade, Sicoberry from Kraljevo, Frigo Paun from Pozega, Master Frigo from Belgrade, and Fruvela from Lajkovac.
Aside from those using national booths, there were also seven independent exhibitors from Serbia at this fair as well as three companies that exhibited at the VIP booth, meaning that the number of Serbian companies at Anuga totaled 22.
Anuga is the world's leading and largest food fair that is held every second year in Cologne gathering about 6,800 exhibitors from 97 countries and over 150,000 expert visitors from the food industry.
Participation of our companies in this fair is also significant because Germany is one of the top foreign partners of Serbia, SIEPA said in the release.
