Results of a superanalysis have showed that three juices of two manufacturers from Serbia have a smaller percentage of fruits than declared, which has resulted in the Agricultural Inspection recalling 4,660 liters of juices, Head of the Agricultural Inspection Nenad Vujovic told Tanjug news agency Monday.

It has been determined that the prescribed level of quality is not met by Verde apple and peach juice made by Belgrade-based IB Tim, Bas Bas pulpy peach and apple fruit nectar and Soriso clear apple juice, both made by Duga Fruit from Krusevac, Vujovic explained.

- The check of fruit juice and nectar manufacturers was ended October 10th, when we got the results of superanalysis from an accredited laboratory for ten manufacturers and their 25 different fruit juices and nectars - Vujovic reminded.

He said that all products that were not in compliance with the prescribed quality had been recalled.

The problem with the quality of Serbian juices also arose in Montenegro that placed a temporary ban on Saturday on the import of certain brands, namely those made by Vino Zupa Aleksandrovac (Maxi Fruit, La Vita and La Viva) and Takovo Gornji Milanovac.
