China Development Bank interested in investing in Rudnik Kovin

Representatives of China Development Bank, led by Wang Yahseng, head of the Belgrade office for the Balkans, were recently staying in the municipality of Kovin to get familiar with the potential of the Rudnik Kovin mine as well as to collect information about local community, the local newspaper Kovin Ekspres reports.

On that occasion, guests from China were received by Kovin Mayor Gordana Zoric.

- The visit of this delegation from China foreshadows an investment in Rudnik Kovin that is now almost certain. It is a project on the national level, but we are happy for the fact that they did not bypass us as a local community whose territory features significant energy resources - said Gordana Zoric.

- Representatives of China Development Bank expressed their satisfaction with warm reception in this area and gratitude for all useful information they got from us as good hosts - she added.
