Ljubljana Airport up for sale?

Finance cited an unofficial source as saying that more than 75 percent of shares in Ljubljana Airport are going to be put up for sale. At the moment, the price of these shares on the stock exchange is at EUR 24 per share.

- Ljubljana Airport could get as much as EUR 45 per share - says Grega Meden from KD Fond.

- The company has improved its operations and increased the number of passengers in August by 7 percent from the same month in 2012.

Saso Stanovnik from Alte Invest adds:

- Shareholders can count on a share price of EUR 35 and higher. The state could get EUR 80 million, which is very good.

Meden believes that potential buyers Ljubljana Airport are airports in Venice, Frankfurt, Zurich, Vienna, Istanbul, and maybe even some buyers and private investment funds from China. By the way, the airport in Ljubljana handles about 1.2 million passengers a year.
