Italians eye Surdulica-based Zastava Pes factory

Italian sanitary equipment manufacturers are interested in buying Surdulica-based factory Zastava Pes (RS Partner Pes), the web portal Jugmedia reports.

By the way, the municipality of Surdulica plans to promote its new offer for foreign investors using this company as a model.

- The state gives a big money through SIEPA to foreign investors building in our country. On the other hand, we have a lot of empty factory buildings that serve no purpose - Mayor Novica Toncev says in a statement to Jugmedia.

He suggests that instead of money from the budget, the investors should be offered empty factory buildings at a discount price or even free of charge on the condition that they hire certain number of people that will depend on the size of their production.
