Jetoil Srbija opens storage space for oil derivatives in Smederevo - Investment of over EUR 10 million
The Jetoil Srbija company opened Wednesday in Smederevo a state-of-the-arts storage space for oil derivatives, with a capacity of 25m liters, in which over EUR 10 million have been invested.
Jetoil Srbija CEO and Mamidakis Group Executive Director George Stasis said that the "terminal opened in Smederevo represents a jewel in the region." He also announced that the work would be resumed in order to build a storage space for another 25 million liters of oil derivatives.
As he stressed, the newly built terminal in Smederevo is very modern, one of the best in Serbia, featuring characteristics that make it competitive with all other terminals in Europe
Stasis pointed out that after the first phase of terminal construction was completed, 20 people from Smederevo were hired, adding that another 50 would get a job in the second phase.
- Jetoil Srbija's majority owner is Greece's Mamidoil - Jetoil Hellenic with 50.5 percent, Nafta AD Beograd holds a 30 percent stake in the company, whereas a stake of nearly 20 percent is held by Swiss company Mitan Handels - Stasis explained.
