Vimcamex and Aida buys large stake in AIK Banka in block transaction

In a large block transaction late last month, 451,018 shares or 4.98 percent of the outstanding stock of Nis-based AIK Banka got a new owner.

According to the data provided by the Central Securities Register, the biggest buyers were two companies – Vimacamex Consulting Limited (315,000 shares) and Aida Asset Association Aktinge (136,018 shares). The seller was the National Bank of Greece that sold its entire stake in this way.

Local businessman Miodrag Kostic, who was the largest buyer last year, currently officially holds a 24.73 percent stake in AIK Banka, whose second largest shareholder is ATE Bank with a 20 percent stake.
