Podgorica is ready for European Basketball Championship, works on "Morača" - 3 million EUR

Podgorica will be good host on September 16, 17 and 18, 2005, to the members of B group, Croatia, Turkey, Lithuania and Bulgaria, on the forthcoming European Basketball Championship. President of organization board, Dr Miomir Mugoša, announced arrival of several chiefs of the states. Among the invited guests are families of former heros of Yugoslav basketball: Radivoje Korać, Krešimir Ćosić, Dražen Petrović, Mirza Delibašić and Rajko Žižić.

The tickets can already be bought in the selling centers in Podgorica, Budva and Bijelo Polje. The price of the set of tickets for all 6 matches is 25, 30 and 50 EUR.

Preparatory tournament will take place on August 25 in Podgorica. National teams of SCG, Croatia, Lithuania and Slovenia will take part in it. That will be one final rehearsal for the organizers of B group.

Voluminous works on complete reconstruction of sports hall ``Morača`` are underway. They will cost about 3 million EUR. The chief manager is Ranko Ćetković, marketing director of Olympic Committee of Croatia.
