Production of electronic cigarettes in Smederevo? - Negotiations with Italian investor underway

A delegation of the City of Smederevo led by Mayor Jasna Avramovic was staying in Italy as part of the official visit of Serbia's business delegation to Bologna, it was announced on the city website.

The mayor of Smederevo pointed out in Bologna that they were negotiating the opening of a factory for producing electronic cigarettes in Smederevo with an Italian company, adding that another Italian company was interested in the privatization of Zelvoz.

Aside from discussing investment opportunities in the market of Serbia, the two sides also talked about the experience of Italian companies in Serbia and good cooperation between Italian and Serbian companies. Presentation of Serbia's free zones, including the one in Smederevo, was also on the agenda of meetings in Bologna.

The visit began Sunday (November 17th) and ended today (20 November 2013).
