Slovenians invested €5m in new factory of insulation materials, "Šidal" , projected sales scope - €6m

On the foundations of "Šidal", factory for production of insulation material, which fought existential problems for years, completely new factory, beautiful and functional, was erected. Slovenians invested €5m and built new buildings, adapted existing and installed modern technology for production of hydro and thermal insulation materials on surface of 27,500 square meters. The contractors were companies from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Šid and Slovenia. Already in April 2004 the production of thermal insulation materials commenced. Šid-based "TIM izolirka" belongs to ownership structure of "TIM Laško" DD in Laško and "Izolirka" DOO in LJubljana.

Projected sales scope of "Šidal" is €6m and it is expected that it will reach amount of €10m by 2010. The products are exported to the markets of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania and Russia.
