RIZ pelet factory opened in Brus - EUR 2.5 million invested by Serbian businessmen from Russia
RIZ pelet factory was opened Thursday in Brus. Serbian businessman from Russia, led by Goran Radmanovic invested about EUR 2.5 milllion in that production facility covering a surface area of 2,500 square meters and plan to hire 50 workers.
According to Radmanovac, the factory will be producing 60,000 cubic meters of pellets a year using a highly developed German technology. Products from this factory will be marketed in Serbia and the EU.
- My idea was to improve the area of my birth in some way. We shall wait and see how the production will go and then plan new investments accordingly - Radmanovac told the press.
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic attended the opening ceremony. He said that if we managed to employ Serbia, 80 percent of all problems would be solved.
Brus Mayor Slobodan Vidojevic noted that the municipality had freed all investors in production who hired more than 10 workers from the obligation to pay a fee for building land development.
