Serbian IT "strongest" in the region
Leading Serbian IT companies reported the largest revenue growth in the region in 2012, during which the revenue of the biggest IT companies in Slovenia and Croatia dropped, IDC has reported.
IDC, one of the world's largest independent companies engaged in IT technology market research and analysis, has recently announced that the value of the regional IT market in 2012 fell by 1.8 percent from the previous year, to USD 2.52 billion, S&T Srbija told Tanjug news agency.
In the category of regional companies that are primarily engaged in the provision of IT services and software development, the S&T Srbija group with a turnover of over EUR 80 million in 2012 ranks second, with a market share of 6.6 percent, right behind the Com Trade group that is engaged in hardware distribution.
S&T Srbija has been a member of the S&T group for as many as 17 years now, and it has significantly contributed to this result, reporting a two-digit revenue growth from the previous year (15 percent).
