"Banker of the Year" award in 2006 won by Oliver Roegl from Raiffeisen bank
The Head of the Executive Board of Raiffeisen bank in Serbia, Oliver Roegl, is the winner of this-year "Banker of the Year" award, which is given by "Ekonomist media group".
Such decision has been made by the expert jury made of Vojin Bjelica (Council of NBS), Srđan Bogosavljević ("SMMRI-Strategic marketing"), professor Boško Živković, Nikola Pavčić ("Sintelon"), Dejan Cvetković ("Microsoft"), Slobodan Vučićević ("Grand kafa"), Slobodan Radun ("Nektar"), Biljana Stepanović ("Ekonomist magazin") and Milan Ćulibrk ("Dnevnik" and "Ekonomist").
Some of the criteria, on whch the selection was based, were broadening of the network of branches, socially reliable behaviour, profitability, launching of new banking products, etc.

In the competition for "Banker of the Year" award were Draginja Đurić from Banca Intesa, Ivica Smolić and Predrag Mihajlović from Komercijalna banka, Markus Ferstl, Vladimir Čupić and Rade Vojnović from Hypo-Alpe-Adria bank, Dorte Weidig fmo ProCredit bank and Philippe Guidez from Societe Generale bank.
