Flash Srb begins construction of textile plant in Apatin

On Saturday (21 December 2013), Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic laid the foundation stone for a textile plant of the Flash Srb company in Apatin, where over 200 workers will get a job.

Dacic expressed hope that this first investment project in the Apatin industrial zone would be a stimulus for the employment of hundreds and maybe even thousands of people in that municipality in Backa.

He thanked Italian investors for choosing to invest in Serbia and Apatin.

Apatin Mayor Zivorad Smiljanic stressed that the new textile plant would encourage industrial development of that municipality and then expressed gratitude to the president of the Italian company Flash and his associates for deciding to invest in Apatin.

This investment is valued at a total of EUR 26.6 million.
