ANTIC: 50 km of the new highway in 2014
During the visit in the " Morning program " on TV " Pink " , Antic said that the aim is completion of the major infrastructure projects and finalization of the project Corridor 10.
Minister of Traffic said that currently there are works in all directions on Corridor 10 , both the eastern branch to Bulgaria and the southern branch to Greece . According to his words, the section to the east should be started in April by the new contractor, and then there would also be finalization of eight kilometers to the south towards the Greek border.
Antic said that the budget of the Ministry of Traffic is about 25 billion RSD, of which the largest part is provided to the grant for the " Railways " .
According to him, the rest of the funds are for the completion of the "Chinese Bridge "( between Zemun and Borca), which will also be finalized in 2014, as well as the section of the road Ub - Lajkovac and similar projects financed by the Ministry. Antic said that the Chinese loan will be used for financing in the construction of a highway from Belgrade to Cacak, the two sections - from Obrenovac to Ub and from Ljig to Lajkovac.
Minister of Traffic said that there are also ongoing negotiations in the field of railways, and that it is mostly likely to start the modernization of the existing railway from Belgrade to Budapest. He said that the Chinese side is committed to support the implementation of the project , which is a regional one , as it is connecting the two countries and considering that the Hungarians are also interested. Works could begin in 2015 and it will take several years , approximately three years to complete the entire project , said Antic.
Speaking of flights by "Air Serbia " and a strategic partnership with " Etihad ", Antic has announced additional lines and additional aircrafts from the New Year.
Antic has also announced that from the beginning of the summer timetable on 30 March "Air Serbia " will fly to all planned destinations and achieve full employment of the fleet.
