'Stanic group' from Bosnia announces new acquisitions, moves with distribution towards Serbia
After verification of purchase contract for `Juicy` fruit juices line, between `Jamnica`, part of `Agrokor` in property of Ivica Todoric and `Stanic group` from Bosnia and Herzegovina, that took place on Tuesday in Zagreb, the Croatian concern will have to sell its 22 objects in Serbia, upon request of our Commission for Competition Protection.
Svetlan Stanic, co-owner of `Stanic group` said that they have made excellent cooperation with `Agrokor` and that acquisition could not be executed without the help and openness of the Croatian concern.
- Crisis has not been over yet, but crisis is also a chance. In crisis, you can get to certain projects more easily and more simply. We are currently in the process of taking over other companies. When it is a time of crisis, when other companies are in problems, we have the chance as one of the leading BiH companies to make acquisitions and gather those companies of interest for our future and expansion, said Stanic.
He explained that `Stanic group` had tried two years ago to take over the Slovenian `Fructal`, that was later bought by the Serbian `Nectar`.
- We tried to purchase `Fructal` two years ago, but we failed. Last year, we were in the finals for Austrian `Pago` and another German company. In this case, we got lucky and we succeeded in realization. We have been present in this branch for 20 years, thus this perfectly suits our activities, Stanic pointed out, adding that they took two factories in Croatia and BiH, and they will proceed with distribution towards Serbia.
