Bids for Alpine's highway section submitted by 11 companies and consortiums
Bids for the continuation of the construction of the Pirot-Dimitrovgrad stretch on Corridor X, which was entrusted to Austria`s Alpine that is now in bankruptcy, have been submitted by 11 local and foreign companies and consortiums, it was announced Thursday at the bid opening ceremony.
The bids came from the following companies: Consortium Magistrala Surbia 2014 from Bulgaria, Construchiones Rubau S.A. from Spain, Consortium Koridori 10 JV (Bulgaria), Trace Group Hold (Bulgaria), JV: OHL, OHL and Putevi Uzice from Czech Republic and Serbia, JV: Euro-Asfalt, MD Gradnja Inzenjering Transport and Ingrap Omni from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Terna S.A. from Greece, Integral Inzenjering from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Aktor from Greece, Planum - Planum Cyprus JVA from Serbia, and JV: Strabag AG and Vojvodina Pancevo from Austria and Serbia.
All bids had to be enclosed with a EUR 600,000 bid bond.
The works will be supervised by Koridori Srbije officials and EBRD experts.
