Portuguese flag carrier TAP announced today that it would launch direct flights between Belgrade and Lisbon on July 1st.

These flights will be operated three times a week - from Belgrade on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and from Lisbon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The ticket price, inclusive of all taxes, will be EUR 245.

TAP officials told a press conference in the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS) that the new service would be operated with A319 aircraft featuring 15 seats in the business class and 113 in the economy class. This will made it possible for passengers from Serbia to connect flights to cities across Portugal, as well as Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, New York, Miami, and 14 destinations in Africa.

According to the data provided by TOS, Serbia was visited by 2,000 tourists from Portugal last year.
