Yet another market chain is leaving Croatia. After the French retailer Bricostore did that last year, Germany's OBI is most likely to do that this year, and so is Austria's Baumax.

Although OBI had big plans for expanding its business in Croatia, this German retailer now operates only a store in Slavonski Brod. Namely, few months ago OBI closed its facilities in Sisak and Varazdin. OBI is present in the Croatian market since 2007, employing 186 workers in this country.

OBI is among the leading do-it-yourself retailers in Germany and other European countries, operating over 580 stores world wide.

This company announced its arrival in Serbia back in 2010.
