Fruit seedlings and vine grafts from Trstenik exported to Russia
The first batch of 9,000 fruit seedlings and vine grafts has been shipped from Trstenik to Russia, where this material will be planted on an experimental five-hectare farm in the Rostov Region, the Trstenik municipality announced today.
Fruit seedlings were delivered by the Grof of Milutovac company, the largest exporter of fruit seedlings in Serbia.
This export deal was agreed upon during the visits of delegations of Trstenik and its Russian sister city Aksay to each other.
Trstenik Mayor Miroslav Aleksic hopes that a new batch of planting material and fruits and vegetables will be despatched soon.
