Energoprojekt to build Corridor XI stretch with Chinese company - Project valued at USD 155 million
China's Shandong Hi Speed Group, the main contractor for Corridor XI stretches from Obrenovac to Ub and from Lajkovac to Ljig, has entrusted half of the job to Serbia's construction giant - Energoprojekt holding.
Energoprojekt is hired to build a 24-kilometer, six-lane stretch of the full-profile highway E 763, 9 bridges, 6 overpasses, and the Ljig interchange.
This company will also construct the Brancici tunnel with two 940-meter tubes, regulate water courses, and carry out other necessary works. The agreed value of all the works is USD 155 million (exclusive of VAT). The project is to be implemented in 37 months.
By the way, the total value of this project is about USD 333.7 million, including 10% to be provided by Serbia, and it is financed with the proceeds of a loan extended by China's Exim Bank.
