ALPHA BANK SUPPORTS PRESTIGIOUS NIN LITERARY AWARD
At the headquarters of ALPHA BANK Srbija, on January 18, 2007, the Jury of the NIN Award for the novel of the year 2006 announced the winner – “Rise and fall of Parkinson’s disease”, written by Svetislav Basara who becomes the 52nd winner of this Award.
Mr. Panagiotis Vlasiadis, president of the Executive Board of ALPHA BANK Srbija congratulating Mr. Basara for this honorable prize at the press conference stressed:

On January 22, Mr. Basara became the “honorary” client of Alpha Bank’s Kralja Milana branch and on January 25 along with the award, the promotional “check” in the amount of EUR 7000 was formally handed to Mr. Basara by Mrs. Veselinka Milosevic, Member of the Executive Board of ALPHA BANK Srbija A.D.
“For us this 15 year long Exclusive sponsorship of the “ NIN award” represents the possibility for contributing to the development and cultivation of the fine writing and Serbian language, a paramount factor in preserving national identity and cultural heritage of Serbian people,” said Mrs. Milošević at the Nin Literary Award official ceremony taking place in Belgrade’s Aero Club.
