- Italian company "Euro-in" should, by April 2007, open a factory for the production of upper parts of shoes in Kula, where it will hire 150 to 200 workers - the Mayor of Municipality of Kula, Svetozar Bukvić, stated.

- The local self-government helped the Italian company to choose an appropriate working space in Kula and "Euro-in" will bring all of the necessary equipment and complete technology - he said.

Bukvić pointed out that there were enough qualified workers in Municipality of Kula who worked in footwear factory "Aska" and in tannery "Eterna". The businessmen from Italy visited two potential locations for construction of factory hall, one of which is in Armature Factory "Istra" in Kula, whereas the other is on private property.

Besides, five workers from Kula will soon receive training, which will be organized in the unit for production of upper parts of shoes in Ugrinovci. Once the training is completed, the commencement of production will be enabled.
