Domestic vegetables for instant soups – Indofood to start building factory in Indija in May
Indonesian investor Indofood will start building its factory in Indjija next month. The company is going to invest about EUR 11 million in the first phase of project implementation, and the factory should be put into operation late this year.
This company became an official owner of a 500-are land lot in Indjija’s northeast industrial zone in November 2013. Indofood is going to build three factories on that land, and the first one alone will employ between 140 and 200 workers.
The foundations for the production facility for instant soups will be laid next month. By the way, this is the first Indonesian investment in Europe and Serbia. It will create a special opportunity for Serbian farmers because raw materials for the production of instant soups will exclusively come from domestic fields.
