Vindija invests EUR 2.6 million in chicken production boost
Croatia's Vindija grupa is going to invest HRK 18.2 million (about EUR 2.6 million) from its own resources in the boost of Koka's chicken production capacity.
Following the completion of the first phase of works at the Farm 14 in Petrijanac, which cost HRK 9.5 million, production of broiler meat for the summer season will be increased as of May, people at Vindija announced.
After the second phase is completed, costing HRK 8.7 million, the modern farm will have nine henneries with a capacity of up to 200,000 one-day broilers by the year's end, that is, about 1.2 milllion chickens a year per hennery.
Vindija operates in Serbia as well. According to the information on their website, this company has factories in Lajkovac and Plandiste, offices in Belgrade and Nis, as well as the fodder factory FSH UNIP in Valjevo.
