Lulu hypermarket chain from the Emirates interested in Serbian fruits and confectioners
During a visit to the United Arab Emirates, a delegation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) spoke with the managing director of a leading hypermarket chain in that region - Lulu, Saife T. Rupaval, about the possibilities of that company working with suppliers from Serbia. This retailer from the Emirates is interested in selling fresh and dried fruits and confectionery products from Serbia in its stores, it was announced on the SCC website.
Representatives of the Lulu company that operates more than 110 hypermarkets attracting about 600,000 buyers a day are going to visit Serbia as members of a UAE delegation.
Serbia and the Emirates have much space to expand their joint business activities and promotion in third markets, it was concluded at the meetings between SCC President Zeljko Sertic and leading businessmen at the chambers of commerce of Sharjah and Duabi.
A business delegation of the UAE will be staying in Serbia between May 19 and 22.
