The local self-government of Sremska Mitrovica is preparing the local industrial zone for the construction of the solar power plant Green Power Investment.
A draft of the comprehensive zoning plan for the solar power plant Green Power Investment had been on public display by 6 March 2014, and the City Assembly of Sremska Mitrovica made a decision last week to adopt this plan. The industrial zone is situated in the cadastral area Lezimir, Radio Ozon reports and adds that the investor interested in this industrial zone is a company from Subotica.

This plan covers a surface area of 2.5 hectares.
