Cedomir Vitorovic, owner and director of Top Solutions and SquashLand club – I play without backup position

A marathon runner who combines a yuppie sport, squash, and a macho sport, rugby, says he could not live without sport. That’s why the fact that he transferred success from the field to IT world is not surprising. Unusual match? Our collocutror,it seems, picked up opposite challenges in all fields. A jurist and an adventurer, is trying to go the mysterious ways in business but when he starts something, he always sticks to standard and form. Although he does not like to share advice for success, he reveals that the motto he is led by – the biggest good for the majority of people. This goes both for business and life.
Cedomir Vitorovic is an owner and the General Manager at Top Solutions, known for print management solution PrintLab and the first Serbian squash club, SquashLand in Kosutnjak.
Racquet and a ball influenced my decision to deal with all other jobs, he says. Today, along with their sport successes, there is a huge success of the first Serbian print management system generated by Top Solutions. PrintLab drastically decreases printing costs and headcount costs and the result it gave in a few years of testing are incredible. Companies generate saving of 30% minimum, most of them some 50%. In the language of money – companies using PrintLab, save millions in print. They are now planning to transfer best practice into state-owned sector so that big, public companies and institutions could work better with TopSolutions solutions.
I play without backup position
Cedomir Vitorovic came to our premises straight from Kosutnjak. During the talk about the latest print solutions and plans in Top Solutions, he says that he has a rugby training that night. And he really does not understand the question how he manages to do everything. With pleasure and without stress, since I was born, he says. The only thing that it important is to decide what you want from life.
He was born in 1971 in Belgrade where he graduated at the Faculty of law. I am glad I am a jurist because the knowledge I acquired at the Faculty helped me many times, he says. Apart from, there he learnt a very important thing – it is necessary to stick to form and standard in everything you do.
He left his job and decided to find a new challenge.
He opted for squash. In that period, he was finishing an active playing rugby so this was an excellent opportunity to stay in sport but in a different way.
I could not do without sport
He says that he always wanted to try everything in sport.
When asked which match re remembers, he said with laughter:
- Every match when we won Partizan.
I tried on many fields. His skies are always ready. He has been a marathon runner for years, he ran last time in October in Munich. He revealed how he manages to run 42 kilometers and why this is not a fight against himself but fight for himself.
He said he involved himself so much that he could not live without sport.
He merged nice and useful with squash and showed that sport can be sustainable.

When he decided to create a path for squash players in Serbia and to offer to Belgrade citizens something they have not tried yet, he prepared well.
SquashLand is a club established in forgotten Pionirski grad in Kosutnjak, in an impossible time when the oasis of Belgrade was ruined and abandoned, and today it entered the second decade successfully. Kids, young people and seniors play squash. It is becoming increasingly poular in Serbia, so even those who once believed it was an entertainment for yuppies now decide to engage in this sport.
Buyers run our business
- Our idea in Top Solutions was to try the opposite, not to make something and use marketing to persuade buyers they need it but to place ourselves into their position so that they would dictate what they need – Vitorovic says.
This is how print management solution PrintLab was created. It was planned for all companies with more than 10 printers, i.e. more than 50 staff, independently of what they actually do. Why is it special? There are programs which monitor toner consumption as well as print management solutions related to a specific brand. But, PrintLab manages what the company already has and create personalized we service though which a user communicates with a suppliers of consumable material and service staff. All is in one so there is no waste of funds.
Speaking about beginnings, Cedomir Vitorovic reveals that hiin setting up IT business, he got a number of useful pieces of advice from his wife who graduated at the Faculty for electrical engineering.
Although companies recognize benefits of this system, the number of users is on a constant increase (with a remark there is none of them being dissatisfied), Cedomir Vitorovic says he is never satisfied because he believes everybody should use this solution.
He believes the only thing it takes to reach that objective is that the people should be open to try something different and then practice will prove they did not make a mistake.

Although PrintLab is the best known, this is not everything Top Solutions offers. There are Perfect Printing, Print Arhiv, EBA document management, etc. and they have recently started Internet-shop - tonerionline.rs.
Privately, Cedomir Vitorovic says he does not have a wish he did not achieve. What are the next business steps in Top Solutions?
- We are planning to work honestly and fair as we have done so far and to leave users run our business. I am convinced this is a way to success. My wish is, also, to see whether we can do something abroad where we are analyzing the field as for now. Apart from that, I want that all public companies in Serbia to use our solution so that they would start saving their money which is in fact money of all us.
