Assembly Economy Board set up

The Board for economy, regional development, trade, tourism and energy was set up on Friday, at the Assembly of Serbia (May 9, 2014.) Aleksandra Tomic, a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) was appointed President of the Board.

Tomic pointed out that the board has an important work to do because implementation of economical reforms and adoption of sets of economic laws is underway in Serbia.

Therefore, as she pointed out, it is necessary that the practice of the board is organizing of different working groups and public listening at the assembly.

After thanking the board members who elected her president, Tomic said that it will comprise four ministries and that therefore it is necessary they meet often

Vice President of the Board was not appointed at the meeting on Friday because not all consultations were finished, Tomic said, and postponed that topic of the agenda for one of the upcoming meetings of the board.
