Imlek's consolidated profit jumps by 40% - They generated profit of RSD 14 billion in 2013
The biggest domestic dairy under the control of the Salford investment fund, Imlek, announced the reports for 2013 at the group level, which show significant increase in business and profir. These are the first consolidated results which comprise business of Subotica-based Mlekara which Imlek acquired in October last year when it purchased 82,5% of shares.
Other subsidiaries which make consolidated balance sheet are Imlek Boka, East Milk, Mlijekoprodukt, Mljekara Laktasi, Balkan Dairy Products, Mlekara Sinj, IMB Mlekara and the biggest confectionary at the Serbian market, Bambi.
The reports show that the consolidated business profit increased by almost the third (30,6%) to almost RSD 40 billion which influenced that operational profit (EBIT) increased by 55% compared to 2012, to RSD 5,8 billion. Profit totalled alsmot RSD 4 billion which is an increase of 40% compared to 2012.
As of the beginning of the year, Imlek's shares at the Belgrade stock exchange have been generating a growth in value of 17, 4%, which is the highest percentage after Energoprojekt with 17, 8%. At the last price of RSD 3.507, market capitalization totals RSD 28, 2 billion (EUR 243 mil).
